In 2000, Prasad and Susan founded HIM Children’s Home in south India. Today, it shelters 45 to 60 children offering them an education and spiritual guidance. Their mission is to provide a loving environment for orphaned, poor, and neglected children, giving them a chance at purposeful lives. The boys’ range in age from 5 to 15, with more than 600 having been cared for to date.
The home has seen many success stories, with former residents excelling in various fields. However, challenges persist, especially the harsh monsoon seasons which bring heavy flooding and mudslides which affect the orphanage. This is exacerbated by the government’s reluctance to aid Christian organizations.
With support, the home has made progress, including a new kitchen and sustainable ventures like vegetable farming, and raising chickens. Please help us continue to nurture these children.
